|Commentary:||Live the rock n roll lifestyle - almost. Former home of the world famous blues recording studio Chess Studios. You can live where Bo Diddley, Willie Dixon, Chuck Berry, Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, BB King, Buddy Guy, and The Rolling Stones once recorded.
The building was originally built in 1920 for Excel Auto Radiator Company. The building was designed by Alfred S. Alschuler. Excel was founded by Ukrainian immigrant Samuel Briskin to manufacture car radiators, but started manufacturing 8 mm movie cameras in the 1930's. The Reverve Camera building was sold to Chess Records in the mid-1960's.
